Our Heritage
Founded in 1948, Thomas J. Shryock Lodge No. 223 has been a proud part of the Masonic heritage of Hollywood and Southern Maryland for generations. For more than seven decades, its members have carried forward the enduring traditions of Freemasonry—brotherhood, charity, integrity, personal growth, and service to others—while building a legacy rooted in fellowship and devotion to the community. Over the years, the Lodge has served not only as a home for its Brethren, but also as a gathering place for the greater Masonic family of Southern Maryland, supporting youth organizations, scholarships, charitable programs, and community initiatives. Today, Thomas J. Shryock Lodge No. 223 proudly honors the generations who came before us while preserving their legacy and timeless values for those who will follow.
